Will Smith's Tips For a Divorce-Free Marriage

The famous actor and singer Will Smith has a very peculiar philosophy when it comes to divorce. Will Smith has been married to Jada Pinkett-Smith for over 10 years now, which is outstanding for Hollywood relationships that usually don't even make it to the seven-year itch.

Recently on the Ellen DeGeneres show Ellen asked Smith how his relationship had lasted so long. Smith's reply was that divorce is just not an option and that there has been so many options for people in Hollywood when it comes to marriage that he and his wife has just removed all of the other options including divorce, as reported by People.

My husband and I love Will Smith's perspective on marriage and divorce. There are certain things that would have you screaming at people to get a divorce but in reality everything can be compromised. I plan to work my marriage the Will Smith way and just say no to divorce.

My dad had always said that a perfect marriage is when you don't go to bed angry. I feel that he was right and I have used this through my marriage to my husband. I have been married twice but the first one ended because of a serious drinking problem and abuse that my then spouse had. My second marriage is one that I truly had time to grow up around and to see that not all things are going to go the way that I want them too.

Will Smith's marriage has worked because they have refused to let it end. There are some reasons that I believe is cause for a divorce but I also truly believe that if you both love each other then anything can be worked out.

The first step in working out your marriage is to always talk and be open with one another. Once one of you stops to communicate with the other, the marriage will slowly disintegrate. Even if things get heated take a breath and start over again.

The second step to making your marriage work is to not argue in front of the kids and to talk at a whisper. Have you ever been in a place and someone starts to whisper? If someone whispers pretty soon everyone around them will begin to whisper. Whispering makes you control your tone and you are less likely to continue to be heated.

The third step is to always discuss everything right down to the money. I discuss everything with my spouse including what we will have for dinner. We include each other as a family and therefore our family makes the decisions to what goes on. We don't always agree with each other but we take the time to listen and to understand and then we compromise.

The fourth step to making your marriage last is to never bring up the past. The past is often brought up when people are angry. Bringing up the past leaves an open door for them to do the same to you and it will only lead to trouble. Humans make mistakes even when they sometimes don't mean too and the past should be left alone.

The fifth step that I can offer you is to always tell the other person that you love them at least once a day. Saying I love you is sometimes not said enough and everyone needs to know that they are loved. When you don't say it it can make the other person feel as though you don't love them.

Everything that you do in your marriage will determine if you end up in a divorce. Will Smith has made up his mind on what he wants his marriage to be and I have made up mine.

Will Smith To Host Nelson Mandela's 90th Birthday Party

Nelson Mandela has asked the Hollywood star Will Smith to host his 90th birthday concert in London this summer.

Just in case, you don't know who Nelson Mandela is, he's the former President of South Africa, the first to be elected in fully representative democratic elections. Before his presidency, Mandela was an anti-apartheid activist and leader of the African National Congress and its armed wing Umkhonto we Sizwe. He spent 27 years in prison for crimes related to the struggle against apartheid.

Internationally recognized asa symbol of freedom and equality, Mandela has received more than one hundred awards over four decades, most notably the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993.

Apparently, Mandela is a great fan of Will Smith. Here's a picture of him doing the "fresh prince" with Beyonce Knowles!

Will Smith loves wearing those "Men In Black" suits so much, that he's decided to run for President.

Last year the Democrat supporter, Smith revealed his political aspirations, saying: "I always wanted to be the first black president but Barack Obama stole my idea. That's OK with me. Barack can go first and then I'll take my turn."

Obama has even contacted Smith to play him on a movie about his life. Apparently, having the same ears is all it takes to play Obama!

Hey I'd vote for Will Smith. On the other, I'd even vote for Arnold Schwarzenegger. Don't laugh, your mama voted for Ronald Reagan!!!
